mta automation, inc. manufactures, sells, and supports soldering and dispensing robots for the North American market. We manufacture our machines in Switzerland, so they are very reliable, and our replacement parts sales are very low. However, soldering and dispensing machines both have consumable parts, so we have a steady flow of orders for these consumables.
Job Description: Office Assistant
We are looking for a part-time employee that is able to work about 4 hours per day. The hours can be flexible to meet your schedule. We need someone that can come to our office (not work remotely) to help with the following tasks:
- Provide quotations to customers
- Forward technical questions to out technical team
- Process customer orders
- Manage inventory / purchase standard parts from HQ
- Receive shipments into the system
- Package and ship small orders (0-5 small boxes / day)
- Invoice customers
Candidate skills
This is primarily a clerical job and requires attention to detail and high organization skills. We expect candidates to have a fundamental understanding of Outlook, Excel, and Word. We would prefer candidates have prior experience in order entry, purchasing, and/or accounting, but these are not required. Specific experience with QuickBooks Premier is a bonus, and the ability to communicate fluently in Spanish is also an advantage.
